MOBILE RADIO SYSTEM WITH SYNCHRONIZED HANDOVER

PURPOSE: A mobile radio system with synchronized handover is provided to reduce the loss and duplication of packet during handover. CONSTITUTION: In a mobile radio network such as a universal mobile telephone system, a TRNC(22) send a request to an SRNC(22) through a lur link(27) and the SRNC(22) returns frame timing information for the handover or re-array of control as to the movement from a SRNC(22) to a TRNC(24). The TRNC(24) synchronizes a user plane and the SRNC for uplink, and all of two controllers can send same packets at the same time based upon the synchronization. A core network(10) can suppress the duplication of packets.
