FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analogue-to-digital converters. The technical outcome is achieved by eliminating harmonic distortions of a recovered analogue signal due to prevention of loss of signal pulses with pulse-frequency modulation. For this purpose, there is a second counter of pulse-frequency modulated pulses with auxiliary elements, working during off-periods of the first pulse counter. This enables conversion of a parallel code of counters into a series, and carry out zeroing in off-periods of another counter, thereby preventing loss of pulse-frequency modulated pulses and distortion of the recovered analogue signal. The proposed analogue-to-digital converter does not use a compander and does not have quantisation noise. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of transmitted information. ^ 2 dwg |
