SEPARATION COLUMN AND SUSPENDED MATTER SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation column and a suspended matter separator efficiently separating suspended matter dispersed in a solvent. SOLUTION: The separation column 20 separates the suspended matter dispersed in the solvent and having smaller specific gravity than the solvent from the solvent. The separation column 20 is provided with an inner pipe 22 including an inlet port 24, and an outer pipe 30 including an outlet port 32 and containing the inner pipe 22. The inner pipe 22 runs the solvent introduced through the inlet port 24 and containing the suspended matter as a swirling flow thereinside. The inner pipe 22 further includes a communication port 26 communicated with the outer pipe 30 and leading the solvent flowing as the swirling flow to the outer pipe 30. The outer pipe 30 stores the solvent flowing from the inner pipe 22 and leads to the outside through the outlet port 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
