PURPOSE: Provided is a process for patching mother-of-pearl on the leather stably patched on the leather by using an excellent adhesive then pressing them. CONSTITUTION: The process for patching mother-of-pearl on the leather comprises the steps of: slicing the mother-of-pearl into 0.2 mm of thickness; steaming it for 24 to 46 hours; patching the mother-of-pearl on a paper; cutting the mother-of-pearl into a specified pattern; coating one surface of the mother-of-pearl with an adhesive; pretreating the surface of a leather with a penetrating agent containing alcohol as a main component; coating the surface of the leather with a binder; coating the surface of the leather with an adhesive; patching the treated mother-of-pearl on the treated surface of the leather; pressing the mother-of-pearl on the surface of the leather; and coating the mother-of-pearl with a brightener.
