The present invention relates to a method for transporting error correction codes in transmission stream. The method includes a step of encoding the data stream from a data source with a data symbol, a step of generating first ECCs from the data symbol, a step of generating the first EECs with a first error correction code (EEC), a step of merging the data symbol and the first ECC symbols with the transmission stream, wherein the first ECC symbols are merged with transmission steam before the data symbols, a step of transmitting the merged transmission stream to a sink device through a communication link, wherein the first ECC symbols are transmitted before the data symbols. So, the error correction codes can be efficiently transmitted. |
