PURPOSE:To prevent breeding from the sutured portion of tissue by providing the suturing part of a surgical suture instrument with a fluid injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A sheath 12 as an insertion member is extended from the front end of a handle 11 of the surgical suture instrument, and a suturing part 14 is provided at the head of the sheath. The suturing part 14 consists of a staple supplying portion 18 and an anvil 16, and at the head circumference of an anvil shaft 15, several fluid injection nozzles 24 are provided around the anvil shaft 15 at certain intervals. These parts are communicated with a biological adhesive-injection opening 26 via fluid conduit 25, and when compressed air is sent from a blower pump 28, a biological adhesive is injected from the fluid injection nozzles 24 to the sutured portion of tissue. This can apply the biological adhesive to the sutured portion of tissue and prevent breeding from the sutured portion. |
