The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition for heat-resistant conveyor belts, which has achieved high physical properties, while at least maintaining heat resistance and processability. A rubber composition for heat-resistant conveyor belts according to the present invention contains an ethylene-butene copolymer and an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer. The mass ratio of the ethylene-butene copolymer to the ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer [(ethylene-butene copolymer)/(ethylene-propylene- diene copolymer)] is from 5/95 to 95/5; and the amount of diene units in the ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer is 2.0% by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the total of the ethylene-butene copolymer and the ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer. The present invention also provides a heat-resistant conveyor belt which uses this rubber composition for heat-resistant conveyor belts.
