<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the inflow quantity into an auxiliary pipe by improving a vinyl chloride joint for the auxiliary pipe of a concrete manhole. SOLUTION: This T-shaped joint 10 is constituted of an upstream side socket 11 connecting an inflow pipe 3, a downstream side socket 13 connected to a manhole, and an auxiliary pipe side socket 14 provided between the sockets 11, 13 and connecting an auxiliary pipe 5 communicated with the bottom section of the manhole at the lower end. Since the pipe axis (a) of the downstream side socket 13 is drifted upward from the pipe axis (b) of the upstream side socket 11 to provide a step between both pipe bottoms, the speed of the drain of the inflow pipe 3 is reduced, the drain is not straightly advanced, and the flow quantity into the auxiliary pipe 5 is increased.</p> |
