PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device provided with a means for detecting a line of sight, capable of always satisfactorily detecting the line of observer's eye ball sight without depending on differences among individuals. SOLUTION: As for the optical device provided with the means for detecting the line of sight, where the observer's eyeball 15 viewing a finder system is illuminated by an illuminating means 1, the reflected light from the eyeball 15 is received by a light receiving means 14 and the line of the photographer's sight is calculated by a calculating means by using the output signal from the light receiving means 14, the illuminating means 1 is provided with plural light emitting elements for illuminating the eyeball 15 from the outside of a finder optical axis Fa, and luminous fluxes with different wavelength are emitted by the plural light emitting elements in accordance with a distance from the finder optical axis Fa. |
