The service plug has a plug body (45) with short-circuit terminals (57) and a rotary shaft (69) extending perpendicular to the insertion direction of the short-circuit terminals, for securing a pivoted lever (51) to the plug body. The lever is pivoted into a raised position in which it acts as a handgrip perpendicular to the plug body for insertion and removal of the plug terminals.
