PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat connected object enabling the thickening of a slide insulator without lowering operationality, and enabling to provide stable connection even though the connected object is inserted at a slight slant. SOLUTION: An FCP cable is opposed to plural conductive contacts 3 held by a base insulator 2, and a slide insulator 4 is slid on the cable, thereby the FCP cable is pressed to the contacts 3. A front edge side 4d of a sliding surface 4a is formed into a non-linear shape so that the slide insulator 4 presses the FCP cable to the plural contacts 3 with time lag in the sliding of it. By the way, the contacts 3 are aligned in a first direction Al, while the slide insulator 4 is slid in a second direction A2 orthogonal to the first direction A1. |
