FIELD: railway transport; auxiliary devices installed on locomotive or other vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has tank for lubricant connected with nozzle installed before locomotive wheels by pipelines through separate shutoff valves and secured on horizontal plate of bracket rigidly fastened on axle-box through axle. Outlet hole of nozzle is arranged at level of inner side face of rail head. System for delivering lubricant to nozzles is made in form of compressed air source with pipeline connected to source and brought into tank space. EFFECT: provision of optimum friction in wheel-rail contact zone. 3 cl, 2 dwg
