PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively and easily inspect an installing state when installing a thrust needle bearing on a main shaft of a vehicular transmission. SOLUTION: A first cylindrical member 3 is slidingly arranged on one end side of a cylindrical jig body 2, and a second cylindrical member 4 is slidingly fitted to this first cylindrical member 3. A meshing mechanism 5 composed of a steel ball 6 and a cutout 7 is arranged on a fitting surface of the first cylindrical member 3 and the second cylindrical member 4, and when allowing the tip of the second cylindrical member 4 to abut to an upper surface of a prescribed place of a work, the ball 6 enters the cutout 7 only when normally installing the thrust needle bearing B, and the first cylindrical member 3 lowers.
