<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the adsorption capability of an adsorbent in a gas adsorption filter by avoiding coverage of the surface of activated carbon serving as the adsorbent with the particles of a thermoplastic adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas adsorption filter formed by holding the particles of the adsorbent between sheets of paper or non-woven fabrics and fixing the adsorbent to the sheets with the thermoplastic adhesive, the particle diameter of the adsorbent is controlled to 100 to 1,500μm and the particle diameter of the thermoplastic adhesive to 25 to 50% smaller than that of the particle of the adsorbent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
