<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a top edge, a bottom edge and a side edge of a printed item (3) by using a correctly and economically usable means. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer device (2) is formed as a transfer rotor having outwardly projecting clamps (6). The printed item is passed through cutting areas of cutting tools (5, 7 and 8) which are provided between a reception station and a delivery station, fix the printed item (3) in the closed clamps (6) and are controllable at the cutting position for cutting the printed item on the track in which the printed item (3) is fed at the reception station at the position with the clamps being open, and the printed item is delivered in the delivery station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
