<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover an individual viscous substance to be packed with a plastic-made flexible film and also seal it so that it is easily unsealed manually. <P>SOLUTION: A packing apparatus of the invention includes: a conveyer 1 for mounting an article to be packed; a covering mechanism 2 for covering the article with the flexible film; a seal forming roller 31 having a plurality of protrusions arranged on its peripheral surface; and a contact 32 coming into contact with the roller 31. The covering mechanism 2 sandwiches the article between two flexible films to cause the two films to overlap around the article. The conveyer 1 causes the overlapping films covering the article to pass between the roller 31 and the contact 32. The roller and the contact 32 pinch the overlapping films at a room temperature to make a pattern of the protrusions for forming a sealed part. Thus, the flexible films are physically sealed without an adhesive or welding, allowing it to be unsealed without breakage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
