<p>A tread rubber for a snow tire is provided to obtain sufficient friction force on an icy road and a snowy road by stabilizing the bonding of a matrix polymer and monofilament and by preventing the separation of monofilament. A tread rubber comprises a polymer; a reinforcing agent such as carbon black and silica; a curing agent; a curing accelerator; and 1-5 phr of an aramid monofilament. Preferably the aramid monofilament is coated on a material having an affinity to rubber, and has a diameter of 1 mm or less and a length of 10 mm or less.</p> |
