<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture an image automatically by an appropriate operation setting according to a user's mental situation. <P>SOLUTION: When an imaging apparatus captures an image automatically at a fixed time interval or the like as automatic imaging used, for example, as a life log use, imaging operation is set based on user's pulse wave information. Depending on the pulse wave information, it can be determined whether variations in user's beats rate are caused mentally or kinetically. User's stress and mental situations can also be estimated. According to the determined results, the appropriate imaging operation is set for image sizes, compression ratios, imaging time intervals or the like, thus enabling the image to be captured automatically under imaging conditions suitable for the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
