PURPOSE:To enable volume of alarm sound to be gradually varied by providing an alarm sound production control circuit in the front stage of an alarm sound producer. CONSTITUTION:An alarm sound producing circuit 26 is provided to the electronic watch with alarm consisting of a reference signal generating circuit 16, a frequency dividing circuit 18, a watch circuit 20, an alarm memory circuit 22, a coincidence detecting circuit 24 and an alarm sound producer 28. And when the contents of the watch circuit 20 reaches the time having been stored in the alarm memory circuit 22, the coincidence is detected with the coincidence detecting circuit 24 and the output 29 of the coincidence detecting circuit 24 is transmitted to an alarm sound production control circuit 26. Then, it is announced by the signal 31 from the frequency dividing circuit 18 as the alarm sound by the alarm sound producer 28. The signal 30 from the watch circuit 20 is the one period signal which has been used to gradually increase or decrease the volume of the alarm sound. By this constant period signal, the alarm sound production control circuit 26 is controlled and the volume of the alarm sound is gradually increased or decreased. |
