PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image processing method, and a program which upscale an image shown by an inputted image signal and can prevent a deterioration in the image quality of a magnified image after upscaling.SOLUTION: The image processor includes a scaling part 104 for magnifying an input image shown by an inputted input image signal, a gain calculation part 106 for calculating a gain for emphasizing a magnified image being an image to be magnified by processing in the scaling part 104 in each target pixel of the magnified image on the basis of the input image signal, and an addition part 108 for adding a pixel value of the magnified image and a corresponding gain in each target pixel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
