<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an operation time required for forming a coordinate grid and to improve the accuracy in a numerical simulation by forming an interactive coordinate grid, taking the know-how of an analysis operator and optimizing the coordinate grid according to an analysis object and an analysis purpose. CONSTITUTION:Basic data such as the number of the grid points, the fixed position of the interactive coordinate grid is inputted and at the same time, an optimizing parameter for controlling the arrangement characteristic such as the smoothness, the concentricity, the orthogonality of the coordinate grid represented by the distance between the adjacent coordinate grid points, a bent angle in the grid point of one coordinate grid line, and angle formed by the two coordinate grid lines crossed at the coordinate grid point is inputted, to perform a coordinate grid forming calculation, and the values of various evaluation functions (smoothness of coordinate grid, concentricity, orthogonality) representing the arrangement characteristic of the obtained coordinate grid are displayed on a display device 2 as an evaluation guidance together with a coordinate grid chart and the value of optimizing parameter is changed and the coordinate grid calculation is repeated by viewing this guidance by the analysis operator. Thereby, the optimum coordinate grid for the analysis can be rapidly and easily formed while making dialogue with a screen.</p> |
