PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for a countershaft brake of compact, simple structure. SOLUTION: This lubricating device for the countershaft brake is provided with the brake 58 provided at the end part of a countershaft 12 of a transmission 2; a gear 16 provided at the end part of the countershaft 12 adjacently to the brake 58; oil 62 in a transmission case 61 where the gear 16 is partially submerged at a standstill; a rib 63 for damming up the oil 62 splashed by the rotation of the gear 16; and an oil passage 64 for guiding the oil 62 dammed up by the rib 63, to the brake 58.
