PURPOSE: To obtain an optical recording medium wherein org. coloring matter recording compsn. paint forming an optical recording layer composed of an org. coloring matter recording compsn. with which a special polymeric activator and a solvent are mixed in a definite ratio is formed on a substrate. CONSTITUTION: Org. coloring matter recording compsn. paint is produced by mixing a definite amt. of a second soln. prepared by mixing a definite amt. of nitrocellulse with a solvent based on methyl ethyl ketone with a first soln. being a main component prepared by mixing a definite amt. of a polymeric activator consisting of cyanin org. coloring matter and an acrylic acid copolymer with a solvent based on ethyl cellosolve. At this time, by mixing the org. coloring matter recording compsn., the solvents, the polymeric activator and the binder in a proper ratio, the color irregularity and foaming of org. coloring matter are reduced and the wettability to a substrate is enhanced and a uniform recording film can be formed on the substrate. |
