PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe forming tool, capable of forming a branch pipe on a metallic pipe regardless of the shape of the metallic pipe; and a forming method for the branch pipe of the metallic pipe using the tool. SOLUTION: The branch pipe of a metallic pipe is formed by using a cutting tool provided with a mealing part 1a; having a first diameter L1 , and being formed of a given cutting blade on the outer peripheral surface; and a burring part 1b; having a second diameter L2 , larger than the diameter L1 , at one side end of the part 1a, and being formed of a slant face 1c wherein a diameter is made smaller gradually with far from the part 1a. |
