The unit has a housing (12) with three spaces in the longitudinal direction separated by transverse walls (88). The outer spaces (22) are smaller than the central space (26) and are designed to accept a different type of socket. Each end of the housing carries a cable connection chamber (16) divided into two parts, one (36) for a cable (49) supplying the adjacent space (22), and the other part (38) for a screened cable (80) passing through that space into the central one.
