Dispersing apparatus for gases in metal melt

The apparatus disperses gases in a metal melt by means of a rotator unit which incorporates a hollow rotating shaft serving for delivery of gases to a melt-immersed rotor rigidly attached to the shaft. The rotor takes the form of a pumping head (4) incorporating melt channels (2) which run from the centre of its bottom (6) outwards to its periphery (9), and have at least a partially upward slope. Gas channels (5) run from the centre (23), which is joined to the hollow shaft (3), to the periphery (9). Between two successive melt channels on the periphery of the pumping head there is at least one gas channel whose opening (7) lies between the openings (8) of these melt channels.
