Glue applicator for flaps of packets

The glue applicator device includes a servo drive (16). After a break in operation the mechanism produces a distance between the glue applicator nozzle (9) and the surface to be glued at the beginning of the first material blank (2). The guide members (12,13) move the material blanks along a guide plane. They can be provided with the servo drive which swivels the guide member of the guide plane or may lift the surface to be glued up from the nozzle. The guide can have slide guides biasing the material blanks from the top and bottom sides.
