<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor capable of shortening the idle time of a CPU between a plurality of terminals (devices, circuit board, etc.), attaining high speed transmission and suppressing cost up. SOLUTION: Transmission I/F circuits 40- 1, 40- 2, 40- 3 respectively allocate the intensity levels of optical signals in each sort (R signal, G signal or B signal) of an electric signal to be converted into an optical signal, convert electric signals into optical signals of light intensity levels corresponding to the sorts of the electric signals, make the optical signals incident upon an optical bus 20 and memory writing parts 61, 63 in 2nd transmission I/F circuits 60- 1, 60- 2 receive multi-valued optical signals transmitted through the bus 20, obtain multi- valued data and write the multi-valued data in memory modules 30- 1, 30- 2 or read out the multi-valued data from the memory modules 30- 1, 30- 2, convert the data into multi-valued optical signals and make the optical signals incident upon the bus 20. A photodetector 70- 12 in a 3rd transmission I/F circuit 70 receives the multi-valued optical signal transmitted through the bus 20 and a signal separation circuit 70- 11 separates the received signal into three binary signals (R, G and B signals).</p> |
