PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving an operation of a network is provided to reduce data transmission costs by using a digital subscriber line and an Ethernet technology. CONSTITUTION: A DSL transceiver of a center station or an ATU-C(30) is connected with a DSL line(100) through a network side(110). The ATU-C(30) is connected with a DLC(Digital Loop Carrier) or ADSL DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer)(20). The DSL line(100) is used for connecting the ATU-C(30) with the DSL transceiver or the ATU-R(50). The ATU-R(50) is connected with a control processor(130) through the DSL line(100). The control processor(130) is used for transmitting buffered data stream to the ATU-C(30). The control processor(130) receives or transmits information from or to the 10BaseT interface portions(60) of the first 10BaseT interface(65). The control processor(130) and the first 10BaseT interface(65) are mounted in an integrated EtherDSL portion(40). The 10BaseT interface portions(60) of the first 10BaseT interface(65) are connected with an Ethernet line(70). The Ethernet line(70) is connected with the 10BaseT interface portions(90) of the 10BaseT interface(95).
