PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard device which improves utilization of the information plotted on a writing sheet. SOLUTION: In an electronic blackboard device 1, a recorder fulfilling the purpose of a conference, the use of plotted information, or the like is connected to a recorder standard interface 8, and plotted information such as characters and graphics is plotted on a writing sheet 3. When recording-out is operated on an operation panel 9, the electronic blackboard device 1 carries the writing sheet 3 to an image sensor 5 by a drive part 4, and plotted information on the writing sheet 3 is read by the image sensor 5 and is outputted to a picture processing part 6 and is converted into binary picture data by the picture processing part 6 and is outputted to a control part 2. The control part 2 stores binary picture data in a storage part 7 as required and outputs this data to the recorder 10 through the recorder standard interface 8 together with a recording instruction corresponding to the recorder 10, and plotted information is recorded out to the recorder 10. Consequently, plotted information can be recorded on the recorder 10 suitable for the use of the electronic blackboard device 1.
