PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress and prevent display defects of a liquid crystal display by decreasing the production of ionic impurities from a color filter. SOLUTION: Relating to this color paste, a pigment with <=20 ppm bromine ion measured by extraction with water is used. The production method of the color paste includes a process to remove all or a part of bromine ions by ion exchange method from the pigment dispersion liquid and/or the color paste. Relating to the color filter, a color film comprising the color paste of one color is formed into a desired pattern and color films of required colors are formed. |
