The casing comprises a sleeve-shaped frame containing a bearing seat and having an axial side with a radial flange protruding beyond the outer side of the sleeve. Holes in the sleeve are used to receive bolts for securing the casing to a substantially flat vertical surface. The holes on the side of the flange from which a load acts against the casing have a larger cross-section than those on the side of the flange which the load acts against.
