<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a hot-water storage tank; to save energy; and to improve convenience by acquiring a stable hot-water outlet temperature, even when used by a terminal simultaneously at a different hot-water outlet temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater is equipped with the hot-water storage tank 5 for storing hot water heated through a heat source in the temperature-stratified state from the upside, a plurality of mixing valves 17 for performing automatically optional hot-water temperature adjustment by mixing hot water taken out from the upper part of the hot-water storage tank 5 with water, and a hot-water temperature setting means 21 for setting the hot-water outlet temperature at the terminal. The mixing valves 17 are provided on a plurality of hot-water outlet passages respectively, and hot water whose temperature is lowered to a prescribed temperature by each mixing valve is guided to the terminal. Just after hot-water supply, the mixing valve is adjusted so that hot water whose temperature is higher than a temperature set by the hot-water outlet temperature setting means 21 is supplied, and thereafter the temperature is controlled so as to agree gradually with the set temperature by the hot-water outlet temperature setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
