PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel which can improve its hub rigidity and prevent its metal ring from deforming. SOLUTION: By forming a gate G outside a metal ring 112, the resin is first filled (solid arrow line)in a cavity 122 (becomes a cylinder 34 when molded) outside the metal ring 112 when injection molding, and a cylinder 34 is formed outside the metal ring 112. Thus, the metal ring 112 is pressed to a movable die plate 124 which the metal ring 112 enters when molding. The resin hardly enters the small gap between the metal ring 112 and the movable die plate 124, and even if it enters, the metal ring 112 is held by the cylinder 34 formed outside the metal ring 112 and can reduce its deformations due to the resin pressure.
