PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a conventional biological treatment apparatus, when organisms other than organisms useful for deodorization such as algae or filamentous fungi are deposited on the carrier surface and inhabit, dominant species interchanges for inactive organisms at a stretch due to difference in proliferation rate, thereby causing extreme decline in function.
SOLUTION: A carrier mobile type biological treatment apparatus has a housing (1), drum (2) and carrier (3). The housing provides an interference region of a circuit flow system (F) for cleaning liquid (L) and a distribution system (B) for gas to be treated (G). The ratio of the flow rate of the both systems is set at a predetermined value. The housing has a circulation system (7) for forcibly circulating the gas to be treated with a flow rate larger than that of the gas to be treated, and a discharge path (8) for cleaned liquid (R). The drum is hollow and has air permeability inside and outside thereof, and faces against the opening of the supply passage and rotatably fitted in the housing at a designated position. The carrier has a spherical shape and a plurality of continuous micro voids (10), and the plurality of carriers are charged in the drum while remaining space (11) for movement.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
