PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recording speed to a recording medium without depending upon the improvement of hardware performance by preventing a time zone in which recording is impossible from occurring even though the exchange of the recording medium is required.SOLUTION: A digital data recording device includes three or more data writing devices connected to a data storage medium. Data storage means includes two or more data storage media in a physical manner and detachable physically or logically from the digital data recording device, and three or more data writing devices connected to the data storage media to transmit digital data to be stored in the data storage media. Storage control means includes storage area setting means for respectively setting a data storage area in the plurality of data storage media, and storage execution means for parallelly executing a data storage operation in two or more data storage areas related to one or more data storage media among the data storage areas through the data writing devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
