The present invention relates to a method of separating nano-diamond, which is agglomerated to a size between 100nm to 1000nm and present due to synthesis by explosion, into a size of 100nm or less. According to the present invention, a method of separating nano-diamond may solve an existing problem of metal impurity inclusion by not using an inorganic strong acid (such as H2SO4, H2CrO4, HCl, HI, or the like) or a strong base including alkali metals and alkaline earth metals, transition metals, etc. which make impurity inclusion possible. Further, a separation method according to the present invention may provide a nano-diamond dispersion solution of a single particle and a plurality of clusters of a size of 5 to 50nm. A nano-diamond according to the present invention has an even particle size of 5 to 50nm and suppressing inclusion of a metal and an alkali impurity to allow a functional group to be usefully and quantitatively attached to a surface of a nano-diamond, thus being able to be used for a precursor of a thin film for IT, a drug delivery system, cosmetic, etc. |
