PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an electronic device connected to external devices via plural interfaces to efficiently operate according to a type of an interface connected to each external device.SOLUTION: A printer 12 having a connector 21 and a connector 32 for a host connectable to a host computer 11 and a display connector 22 to be connected to a customer display 13 receives printing data transmitted from the host computer 11 to perform printing, and includes an output circuit 20 for outputting display data transmitted from the host computer 11 to the display connector 22, detecting whether the host computer 11 is connected to the connector 21 or the connector 32 for a host, and selecting an output path for outputting the display data received from the host computer 11 to the display connector 22 among plural output paths. |
