PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary switch that can be made compact while obtaining required running torque and click feeling, with substantially no impact on the durability.SOLUTION: In a rotary switch including a click mechanism consisting of a ball 60 and a leaf spring 70 for click held by a fixed plate 10 to which a terminal 100 is attached, and irregularities 80 for click provided in a rotating plate 50 to which a movable contact piece 90 is attached, and generating the click feeling by repeating such an operation that the ball 60 pressed by the leaf spring 70, upon rotation of the rotating plate 50, the rotary switch rides on a projection part 82, and then drops into a recess 81 again, a cantilever leaf spring 70 for pressing the free end against the ball 60 is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
