The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device capable of improving a transmission rate. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate; and a pixel electrode located on the first substrate and including first and second sub-pixel electrodes to which different voltages are applied. The first sub-pixel electrode comprises: a T-shaped branch portion including a first horizontal branch portion and a first vertical branch portion; and a first fine branch portion extending from the T-shaped branch portion. The second sub-pixel electrode comprises: a cross type branch portion including a second horizontal branch portion and a second vertical branch portion; and a second fine branch portion extending from the cross type branch portion.
