PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for comprehensively daily determining the consumption of calories using an activity meter as a medium through adding up the detailed amount of calories consumed by sports equipment and bicycle in addition to living activities. SOLUTION: This calorimeter is composed of a means 110 for measuring human body impedance, a means 120 for inputting the personal data, namely sex, age, height and body weight, a means 130 for calculating a body fatty rate based on the human body impedance and the personal data, a means 140 for measuring the amount of basic metabolism based on the personal data and body fatty rate, a means 150 for measuring the amount of living activities, a means 160 for calculating the amount of calories consumed by living activities based the measured amount of activities and basic metabolism, a means 170 for inputting the amount of calories consumed by sports equipment and bicycle of parent machine side into a calorimeter 1 of subsidiary machine side through a serial interface, a means 180 for calculating the calories consumed by sports based on the inputted amount of exercises and basic metabolism, and a means 190 for calculating the sum of the calories consumed by sports to be added to the calories consumed by living activities. |
