PURPOSE:To obtain a power line carrier terminal equipment with high safety by connecting an overcurrent block means and a capacitor to the same side of a power line. CONSTITUTION:A diode bridge 6 is connected to the power line 5 via a fuse resistor 12 to rectify an AC power supply supplied from the power line 5. The fuse resistor 12 blocks the overcurrent flowing when a signal control means 4 is failed and the capacitor 3 blocks so that the commercial frequency component propagated through the power line 5 does not enter the signal control means 4. Further, the fuse resistor 12 and the capacitor 3 are connected to the same side of the power line 5, then even if a coupling transformer 10 constituting a signal control means 4 is short-circuited and an overcurrent flows therethrough, the overcurrent is blocked by the fuse resistor 12 without fail and a power line carrier terminal equipment 1 is prevented from damaging.
