PURPOSE: To increase the speed of visual display processing for a large quantity of observation data. CONSTITUTION: In the visual display method for earth environment observation data which consists of a viewpoint movement processing 330 which calculates the viewpoint position as the observation direction, a coordinate transformation processing 335 which projects a model for display to the display face from the moved viewpoint position, and a texture mapping processing 360 which maps observation data on the display face, the earth and the viewpoint are constituted of geometrical models, and the viewpoint is moved on geometrical models, and thereby, quick visual display is possible, and user's operation load is reduced. |
