PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-purity crystalline oxide by adding and mixing and drying compounds containing V component, Sb component and Mo component and element components such as Ti and Zr in a solvent and calcining and baking the resultant compound to form a precursor and washing the precursor with an organic acid aqueous solution, etc. SOLUTION: A dispersion containing a V compound such as V2 O5 , a Sb compound such as Sb2 O5 at a prescribed ratio is prepared and the dispersion is added and mixed with a compound containing a prescribed amount of Mo compound such as MoO3 and a metal selected from Ti and Zr, etc. The mixture is dried and calcined and baked at 350-750 deg.C to form a complex oxide precursor and the precursor is washed with oxalic acid aqueous solution, etc., and further, washed with hydrogen peroxide solution to the objective crystalline complex oxide represented by the formula, Moa Vb Sbc Xx On [X is Ti Zr, etc., and when (a) is 1, 0.02<=(b)<=0.99; 0.001<=(c)η0.9; 0<=(x)<=0.89; 0.001<=(c/b)<=0.80; (n) is a value determined by oxidation state of other element] and having crystalline structure of unit grating constant represented by the table I and main X ray power diffraction peaks represented by the table II. |
