PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in photographic properties during the preservation, to improve Dmin part and change in color during the preservation of images by incorporating a nonphotosensitive org. silver salt, a reducing agent for the nonphotosensitive org. silver salt. an oxidizing agent and a binder, and also incorporating a UV absorbent into a part except for the layer containing the oxidizing agent. SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording material contains a nonphotosensitive org. silver salt, a reducing agent for the nonphotosesnitive org. silver salt, an oxidizing agent and a binder on a supporting body and contains a UV absorbent in a part except for the layer containing the oxidizing agent. The oxidizing agent is expressed by the formula. In the formula, Q1 is an alkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group, X1 , X2 are independently a halogen atom, Z1 is hydrogen atom or an electron withdrawing group, Y1 is -C(=O)-, -SO- or -SO2 -, n1 is 0 or 1. Thereby, in the obtd. recording material, deterioration is photographic properties during the preservation such as increase in fog can be prevented. |
