PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bubble sheet material based on a bubble sheet, freely bendable along a fold line like paper or cloth. SOLUTION: A bubble sheet material 1 consists of a bubble sheet 2 wherein a large number of closed cells 2a in which air is hermetically sealed are formed in a synthetic resin film 2b and the cover sheets 3 superposed on both surfaces of the bubble sheet 2 and needle holes 5 continuing in a dotted line are bored in the bubble sheet material so that they pierce the bubble sheet 2 and the cover sheets 3 so as to traverse the closed cells 2a of the bubble sheet 2 and yarn is passed through the needle holes 5 to integrally sew all of sheets 2, 3 to form a folding sewing line 7.
