PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio communication terminal which has previously prepared information of a base station to be handed off next in a prescribed route and enhances reliability in a line connection at moving. SOLUTION: Since a moving direction is normally limited to some degrees with small branches in highways, principal roads, railways, or the like, when communication is made while moving on such a route, a sequence of base stations to be handed off has been substantially determined. Accordingly, as described above, the sequence of hand-off, namely a hand-off base station information database 13, which stores a base station list to be used preferentially as a hand-off destination, is provided in a mobile ratio communication terminal 1; and when it is detected by a route detection part 11a that such terminal is present on a prescribed route, a hand-off control unit 11b carries out hands off, by prioritizing the hand-off destination base station list which is stored in the hand-off base station information database 13.
