摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the processing of a beam end with less labor for a column to beam jointing construction in a steel construction where a beam is jointed to a peripheral thick wall of a circular steel pipe column formed by a wall thickness increasing process. SOLUTION: The peripheral wall of a beam jointing portion 4 of a circular steel pipe column 1 is formed to a thick wall by the wall thickness increasing process by the heating and compression in the axis direction. An annular fittings 3 for beam jointing is fitted to the outer peripheral portion of the peripheral thick wall 4, and the annular fittings 3 is attached to the outer peripheral portion of the peripheral thick wall 4 by caulking by means of the wall thickness increasing process or the same kind of the process performed secondarily for the wall thickness increasing process or the peripheral thick wall portion, and the beam 2 is jointed to this annular fittings 3.
