The present invention relates to a display device which can detect deformation of a flexible display device and which can display a screen appropriate to a deformed display region. The display device comprises: a display panel which is made of a flexible material; and a first detection unit which is configured to detect deformation of the display panel. The display panel comprises: a pixel unit which includes a plurality of pixels; and a drive unit which includes a circuit configured to write data to the pixels. The first detection unit is contained in the drive unit. |
