PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communicator which allows for low power consumption by prolonging the sleep state of a receiver (communicator), while using a timer of low time measurement accuracy in the receiver, and to provide a transmission/reception system and a control method of the communicator.SOLUTION: An intermittent operation communicator starting from a sleep state prior to the time of arrival of transmission waves BN1, BN2,... transmitted intermittently, by a predetermined time, receiving the transmission waves in an active state, and transiting to the sleep state again after completion of communication has a start time adjustment circuit (10) for measuring a first time difference Td (α) between the start time Tps of the communicator and the transmission wave reception time Tpr for receiving the transmission waves, and then correcting the sleep time Ts until starting from the sleep state based on the first time difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
